While the Intel Haswell Linux graphics support is currently behind the Intel Windows driver performance driver, it's already made a great deal of progress as these OpenGL benchmark results show. Moving from Ubuntu 13.04 to Linux 3.10 + Mesa 9.2 from Linux 3.8 + Mesa 9.1 (the default 13.04 stack) yields a great deal of performance improvements. Note however that Linux 3.10 + Mesa 9.2 is what we have been using in the earlier benchmark results of the Core i7 4770K already published on Phoronix.

In some cases, the performance has more than doubled compared to what's found "out of the box" for Haswell on Ubuntu 13.04 as released in April.
