  • Twin WUXGA on 780G or 8200 MOBO? Quad?

Hi, everyone, i was going to build a new computer and wanted to know for sure if the new 780G MOBOs from AMD would run two WUXGA (1920x1200) monitors? What about 4 with a 3450? From what I've gleaned I don't think the current ATI Linux drivers will support 4 monitors, at least the Phoronix review I read didn't show the Linux control panel recognizing 2 video cards. I think the Nvidea 8200 and 8400GS will, so I may go with them instead.

Any help is appreciated. I don't do any heavy gaming, just like to see several apps, websites, and video at once. I'll probably use a 9850 Phenom, as well. Newegg has some good prices on 24" monitors. I don't really need 4 now, but I like to leave my future options open. I haven't seen anything in the ATI driver threads about 4 monitor support now or in the future, though their website says they have it in windows.

    Thanks,
    Len
