Garry's Mod Being Released For Linux Today
The popular "Garry's Mod" sandbox physics game built atop Valve's Source Engine is expected to be introduced to Linux gamers today.
Following more exciting releases and news last week, April is already set to start off on a good note with the Linux introduction of Garry's Mod. Back in February I reported that Garry's Mod would soon be coming to Linux and now it looks like it's about to become a reality.
Garry Newman of Garry's Mod shared this morning on Twitter that they're planning for the "GMod" Linux release tonight.
This sandbox physics game uses a modified Source Engine and was ultimately turned into its own standalone game rather than just being a mod to Half-Life 2. Look for Garry's Mod on your Steam Linux client in just a couple hours.
