A few months back we had looked at the OCZ Alchemy Elixir Keyboard, which was designed for gamers and was built quite nicely, but it had fallen short when it came to the multimedia keys working under Linux. Though if you are looking for an advanced keyboard that works quite well with Linux, you may want to check out the Logitech G15, which works under Linux and even with its small LCD display.

Features:

- High-visibility GamePanel LCD
- Illuminated characters
- Six programmable G-keys
- Intelligent cable management
- Instant media access
- 104 standard keys + 29 function keys
- USB 2.0 keyboard

Contents:

The Logitech G15 arrived in a slim cardboard package, similar to how most retail keyboards are packaged, and included inside was the USB keyboard itself, the attachable palm rest, a Windows software CD, and an installation guide. The various features were advertised on the exterior of the packaging along with a few of the games that are compatible with this keyboard's advanced features. Compatibility with Microsoft Windows XP and Vista are advertised, but no mention of Linux. The Logitech G15 is backed by a one-year limited hardware warranty.
