NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 On Linux

With the open-source Tesseract game engine forked from Sauerbraten, the GTX 960 was a few percent faster than the GTX 760. For those upgrading from pre-700 series GeForce hardware, the upgrade is certainly much more noticeable. Between the GTX 460 and GTX 960, the frame-rate is up by 2.28x times!

With the Unreal Engine 4 Atlantis demo, the GTX 960 was riding about ten percent faster than the GTX 760 in this test. The new Maxwell graphics card was about 65% faster than the older GTX 650 Kepler graphics card.

The UE4 Elemental demo results were also similar.

Lastly for the Unreal Engine 4 tests was the Matinee Fight Scene where the performance between the GTX 760 and GTX 960 was indifferent.
