Next are the Mac Mini results that go back to including OS X 10.10.5 and OS X 10.11.6 results.

SQLite on the Mac Book Air was similar between Linux and macOS while with this HDD-backed Mac Mini, macOS / OS X has a huge performance advantage! The Mac results were so fast that I have to wonder if the HFS+ file-system wasn't actually syncing the results to the disk in time.

Similar to the MBA results, Linux was much faster in Compile Bench.

And Ubuntu continued running much faster with MAFFT.

The performance doesn't appear to have changed much between OS X 10.10 and macOS 10.12, at least for this Haswell era system.
