While not doubled as we witnessed with OpenSSL, there are significant gains when running GraphicsMagick on the Linux 2.6.29 kernel. The number of iterations per minute at the HWB color space operation with GraphicsMagick had jumped from 59 to 83 with this Tuz-bearing kernel.

The blur performance with GraphicsMagick had jumped from 25 to 40 with Linux 2.6.29.

The performance is nearly doubled when it comes to the local adaptive thresholding performance with GraphicsMagick using the Linux 2.6.29 kernel.
