Outside of the Vulkan scope with Talos Principle not running on this Intel Vulkan setup, the rest are some other OpenGL Linux gaming benchmarks conducted on the Core i7 5775C for those wondering about the latest performance potential of the Iris Pro 6200 graphics. These final tests for this article were done with Ubuntu 16.10 out-of-the-box (Linux 4.8 + Mesa 12.0.3), upgraded to Mesa 13.1-dev, and then finally was Linux 4.9 paired with Mesa 13.1-dev atop Ubuntu 16.10.

The OpenGL performance doesn't change much for the mature Broadwell hardware with Linux 4.9 or Mesa 13.1-dev, at least for most games.

ET: Legacy was surprisingly one of the few games seeing faster performance out of Linux 4.9.

Those wanting to see more of these test results for getting a better idea of the current i7-5775C / Iris Pro 6200 performance on the newest Mesa and Linux kernel can see this OpenBenchmarking.org result file. Those interested in the Core i7 5775C LGA-1150 CPU for its Iris Pro 6200 graphics can find the CPU in stock these days for around $360 USD. Up next? Some fresh AMD APU OpenGL/Vulkan performance data!
