Similar to Unigine Heaven, Unigine Valley was also much slower with the open-source Linux driver code than the AMD Windows 10 performance.

Xonotic was also much faster on Windows 10 with AMD's proprietary driver. It's a shame that the Catalyst Linux driver wasn't working on this system, but nevertheless there's some interesting performance metrics. The newest open-source driver code (Linux 4.3 + Mesa 11.1-devel + LLVM 3.8 SVN) remains slower than Catalyst but at least for many Linux gamers is fast enough to get sufficient frames per second while gaming. Likewise, it's too bad that the Fiji and Tonga GPUs are only now getting power management support on the open-source driver.
