PHORONIX TEST SUITE
Today OpenBenchmarking.org crossed the milestone of having more than 19 million test profiles and test suites downloaded via the Phoronix Test Suite!

Back in May OpenBenchmarking.org crossed 18 million test/suite downloads by Phoronix Test Suite users running benchmarks on Linux/macOS/BSD/Solaris/Windows/Hurd and now today the 19 million threshold was crossed! As of writing the article this morning, it's been 19,001,260 recorded test/suite downloads across our hundreds of official test profiles and test suites.

Of course, that's simply counting the number of times someone downloaded a test/suite, but not the number of times a benchmark was carried out, which can certainly be many multiple times for those routinely benchmarking the same system with the same tests or if downloading the tests/suites and caching them via a LAN Phoromatic server. So it's safe to say the number of times benchmarks have been actually carried out by the Phoronix Test Suite is significantly higher than 19 million over the past few years since the introduction of OpenBenchmarking.org with Phoronix Test Suite 3.0-Iveland.

Meanwhile, Phoronix Test Suite 6.6-Loppa is under development for release later this quarter. If you are interested in any commercial support, project sponsorship, or other ways of engagement with our open-source benchmarking stack, please contact us.
