Imagination Continues Talking Up Vulkan

Besides launching a free webinar/video series devoted to the Vulkan API, Imagination Technologies has put out another blog post about this forthcoming low-level graphics API.

Tobias Hector of Imagination wrote a blog post today -- the first in a series -- about Vulkan. However, before getting too excited, this blog post series doesn't detail anything new and exciting (thus only writing about it now, at the end of the day). However, it's great to see the continued excitement and promotion of Vulkan by ISVs and IHVs.

The theme of today's Imagination Vulkan blog post is about "One API For All Platform". Go check it out if you want to catch-up on some Vulkan reading.

The big question in the room though is when Vulkan will drop... As reported previously on Phoronix, there's been some rumors of a November debut, but officially from Khronos all I've heard still is before the end of the calendar year.
