Linux 2.6.33-rc6 Kernel For The Weekend
Linus has put out the Linux 2.6.33-rc6 kernel release. This release candidate for the Linux 2.6.33 kernel is on time arriving precisely one week after the Linux 2.6.33-rc5 release.
Half the changes in the sixth release candidate are for architecture related changes (an x86 debug change being the biggest) and just shy of half are Linux driver updates. Of the driver updates, the continued graphics DRM work continue to weigh heavily with about 20% of this driver's patch being made up of Radeon and Nouveau DRM tweaks.
The Linux 2.6.33-rc6 kernel release announcement with change-log can be found at LKML.org.
