Fedora 11 Plagued With Another Delay

Last week Red Hat had to announce that the release of Fedora 11 would be be faced by a last minute delay due to a number of show-stopping bugs that had to be resolved in time. Fedora 11 was then supposed to make it out in the first week of June, but we have now heard that there is another delay facing Fedora 11.

Due to an Anaconda storage bug, Red Hat has pushed back the release of Fedora 11 by one more week. As a result, Fedora 11 is now planned for release on the 9th of June. This delay was announced on the Fedora mailing list.

Once Fedora 11 does ship it will contain better kernel mode-setting support, install-time Btrfs support, GCC 4.4, and exhibit many other new Linux desktop features.
