UBUNTU
While Ubuntu 14.10 is still sticking to the X.Org Server by default on the desktop, an updated version of Mir is now available for early adopters and those running the Ubuntu mobile stack.

Mir 0.7.0 isn't particularly fascinating but has some improvements to the demo shell, test improvements, symbol files for the Mir library components, build related improvements, motion event resampling and prediction for a more responsive touch experience, and various API/ABI changes.

More details on Mir 0.7 can be found via Launchpad.net.
