Linux 3.13-rc6 Is A Very Quiet Kernel
Linus Torvalds released the Linux 3.13-rc6 kernel today, which is a very small release given that it was over a holiday week.
Linux 3.13-rc6 has just 81 small commits making up the changes to the mainline Linux kernel over the past seven days. Given the holiday week and most kernel developers being preoccupied, it's understandably small. Changes include the usual assortment of driver updates, file-system fixes, and ARM SoC work. More details via the mailing list release announcement.
The Linux 3.13 kernel is expected for release in mid January and is home to many incredible new features.
