UBUNTU
Canonical has made it not so subtly known that they will be making an Ubuntu tablet related announcement tomorrow.

We already know an Ubuntu Phone OS Developer Preview is coming this week for the Google Nexus. Now tomorrow, Tuesday, they will be making an announcement concerning tablets.

Mobile World Congress is happening from 25 to 28 February in Barcelona where we know Canonical will already be promoting its new smart-phone platform. MWC is a huge annual event for the mobile industry. Now on 19 February will come a tablet announcement.

The Ubuntu.com web-site has a count-down to tomorrow with a caption that reads "Tick, tock, tablet time!" But as far as what Ubuntu tablet announcement is coming tomorrow remains to be seen.

It's rather unlikely Canonical will be announcing their own hardware tablet running on Ubuntu Linux tomorrow. What's more likely to see is Canonical releasing an Ubuntu Tablet preview image for the Google Nexus tablet or similar hardware. This wouldn't be a huge surprise since they've been working on it for months. We'll be back in 22 hours with an answer of Canonical's latest pursuit in the mobile space.
