cputemp 1.0 Released For Linux Thermal Monitoring
Version 1.0 has been reached for the cputemp utility that uses ACPI for monitoring the CPU temperature and providing various statistics under Linux.
The open-source cputemp utility is lightweight, measures temperatures exposed via ACPI (not LM_Sensors), supports Celsius and Fahrenheit, and logs high/low temperatures too. This is just one of many open-source Linux utilities available for thermal monitoring.
More details are available from its SourceForge project site.
