Like with many top of the line units these days, the Antec TruePower 2.0 430W has dual 12V rails, ATX12V 2.01 compliance, dedicated output circuitry, PCI Express ready, and Active PFC (Power Factor Correction). Will the new Antec TruePower 2.0 continue the legacy of the original TruePower? Up for testing today, we have the Antec TruePower 2.0 430W (TP-II 430).

Features:

· Single 120mm low noise fan
· Dual 12V outputs, for stability and safety
· True Spec noise level of 21.3 dBA measured at an independent lab using ISO 7779 standard
· ATX12V 2.01 compliant. 24-pin main power connector with detachable 4-pin section for universal motherboard compatibility
· 4 Serial ATA connectors
· PCI Express graphic card power connectors
· Dedicated output for more stability and less ripple noise
· Feedback circuits for tighter load regulation (?3%) to maintain accurate voltage to all components
· Industrial-grade protection circuitry prevents damage resulting from short circuits, power overloads, excessive current, excessive voltage , excessive temperatures
· Fan Only power connectors allow True Power to control case fan speeds, reducing total system noise
· MTBF: 80,000 hours
· Safety approval: CB, DEMKO, FCC Class B, FIMKO, EMKO, UL, VDE, TUV
· Active Power Factor Correction (PFC) (Europe only)

Opening up the Antec packaging, we found the PSU to be well protected with bubble wrap. The other items we found were the user's manual, mounting screws, and a standard 16AWG United States power cable. Everything appeared to be in great condition and nothing was noticeably damaged during shipping from Antec. The user’s manual was very in-depth for a PSU, covering all topics from the installation process to the pin configuration for each of the different connectors. All of this information is presented in English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish.
