Phoronix Test Suite 4.8-Sokndal provides a range of new features and capabilities to Phoronix Media's portfolio of benchmarking and automated testing software designed for Linux.

Chicago, IL - 13 August 2013 - Phoronix Media is pleased to announce the immediate availability of Phoronix Test Suite 4.8 (codenamed "Sokndal") as its latest offering to advance open-source benchmarking and performance testing on Linux operating systems and also BSD, Solaris, OS X, and Windows platforms scaling from embedded devices to servers and HPC solutions.

Phoronix Test Suite 4.8 offers many new features including the ability for test profiles to report minimum / maximum complementary result values, frame latency and jitter testing for OpenGL games and applications, and improved hardware/software support particularly for the latest versions of the Linux kernel.
