The Linux 3.4 kernel was released in May 2012 with many driver improvements, including initial open-source graphics support for the Radeon HD 7000 series GPUs, AMD Trinity, NVIDIA GeForce 600 Kepler support in Nouveau, Intel Medfield support, and other changes. Linux x32 support was also another highlight of Linux 3.4.
