With X.Org Server 1.20 not expected for release until early next year, Adam Jackson of Red Hat today issued the X.Org Server 1.19.4 point release.

X.Org Server 1.19.4 includes a range of stability fixes back-ported from 1.20. Additionally, there are two minor CVE security fixes.

The list of more than four dozen changes to be found in X.Org Server 1.19.4 can be found via the release announcement. It's not as exciting as X.Org Server 1.20 with the anticipated DRI3 v1.1, xf86-video-modesetting atomic support, RandR leases, GLAMOR OpenGL back-end, server-side GLVND and more, but at least xorg-server 1.19.4 is available for covering the Linux desktop the next few months.
