The third release candidate is now available for Wine 1.8 as a weekly update to take care of more bugs.

This week's Wine 1.8-RC3 release cancels out 40 more bugs. There's no new features as Wine has been under a code freeze since last month. The Wine 1.8.0 stable release is roughly expected around the end of the year now that the project has moved onto annual, time-based releases.

The 40 bugs fixed by this week's test release can be found via the announcement posted minutes ago to WineHQ.org. If you are not familiar with the features coming to Wine 1.8, see the feature overview.
