While the Intel, Nouveau NV50/NVC0, and LLVMpipe/Softpipe drivers have already supported OpenGL 4.3's ARB_texture_view extension, the AMD R600g and RadeonSI drivers have not. However, that's looking to soon change.

Prolific Mesa contributor Marek Olšák sent out a patch today providing ARB_texture_view for RadeonSI which came a day after Glenn Kennard posted ARB_texture_view for R600g. However, Marek commented on Glenn's patch that his ARB_texture_view implementation for RadeonSI is a simpler design, so the R600g support could end up being revised based off that design.

The AMD drivers still need ARB_shader_atomic_counters and ARB_shader_image_load_store support before either driver will be compliant with OpenGL 4.2. After that, once the ARB_texture_view work lands, there's eight extensions still left to be implemented for R600g/RadeonSI for OpenGL 4.3. It still will likely end up being a few months before OpenGL 4.3 comes into play for the Mesa/Gallium3D drivers.
