PC-BSD 10.1.1 is an exciting quarterly update over PC-BSD 10.1.0, which in turn is based off FreeBSD 10.1. The PC-BSD 10.1.1 release features a new system updater with background updating support, improvements to the GRUB/boot support, conversion to Qt5 for all desktop utilities, a rewrite of the mount tray utility, new OVA files for virtual machines, and a variety of other work.

PC-BSD 10.1.1 desktop updates include GNOME 3.14.1, Cinnamon 2.4.2, and Lumina Desktop 0.8.1. There's also Chromium 39, Firefox 35, and the NVIDIA 340.65 BSD driver.
