Unigine Corp announced yesterday that their Apple iOS and Mac OS X ports of the Unigine Engine are now official and available to clients. Additionally, they have released a new Unigine OilRush video trailer.

On Phoronix I've been mentioning for months about Unigine's work towards the Mac OS X and iOS builds of its very impressive engine. Unigine OilRush beta builds for Mac OS X have even been available for some time. In this press release from yesterday they just officially announce the newly supported platforms. They also have their tech demos running on iOS and Mac OS X, but as of right now they haven't been publicly released.

Embedded below is the new twelve-minute trailer that was released by Unigine Corp of one of their single player campaigns for the multi-platform OilRush campaign.

OilRush has also been officially delayed now to being an autumn 2011 game release. The push back of a few months from the summer target is to allow more time for polishing.
