NVIDIA 349.16 Linux Driver Brings Fixes
The NVIDIA 349 driver series has been stabilized today for Solaris, FreeBSD, and Linux with the debut of the NVIDIA 349.16 update.
The NVIDIA 349.12 Beta brought new features including improved G-SYNC support, support for lossless H.264/AVC with VDPAU, VDPAU improvements for Maxwell, and various other video and graphics related improvements.
Today's NVIDIA 349.16 stable release just brings new device ID additions and bug-fixes over the 349.12 Beta changes. The new Maxwell graphics cards already unofficially worked with the 349.12 release and the support was too already backported to the 346 series, but includes the Quadro K1200 and M6000 on the workstation side. The new GeForce additions are the 920M, 930A, 930M, 940M, GTX 950M, GTX 960M, and GTX TITAN X.
Fixes with this stable update include a PBO change, a corruption issue when switching display modes in apps using transform feedback, and a bug relating to texture corruption on framebuffer depth attachments.
