For fans of the Haiku operating system inspired by BeOS, its mail service has been reworked.

The Haiku OS mail support has been significantly reworked for its Mail Kit with improved IMAP support, new encoding support, protocol / filter settings rework, reworked preferences, and various other changes.

The Haiku Mail Kit provides Internet e-mail support on the operating system. Some older information on Mail Kit can be found via The Be Book.
