The Linux version of Civilization: Beyond Earth is still in the process of being ported to Linux.

There's a status update on the Linux and Mac OS X versions of Civilization: Beyond Earth that's being ported by Aspyr Media. The OS X port is nearly done and has been submitted to all parties for review -- meaning that its release is just days away.

The Linux version is trailing the OS X port by 2~3 weeks, which means if all goes well we could still get the game before the New Year. Aspyr Media has been making performance improvements to the Linux port and getting mods working via Steam Workshop.
