Xen Orchestra, the increasingly used web user-interface to the Xen Server and XAPI, is now out with its version 3.5 release while Xen Orchestra 4.0 is entering the developers' sights.

Xen Orchestra 3.5 is primarily about bug-fixing but there's also a new turn-key appliance using systemd with Debian Jessie in a Xen PVHVM mode. This XOA 3.5 appliance is using Jessie's Linux 3.14 kernel and is reported to have ultra fast boot times and a greatly reduced disk footprint.

Xen Orchestra 4.0 is now going to be the next branch for this software and with it is coming user management for each virtual machine. A Xen Orchestra 4.0 preview version is expected during the Xen User Summit in September.
