Digia has announced the second beta release of the Qt 5.0 tool-kit as the final release is no longer too far out.

With Qt 5.0 Beta 2 there's more bug-fixes and other work to prep for the long-awaited official release of Qt5. This release of Qt is also packaged with Qt Creator 2.6 that sports new features for developers. At this time they have also finalized upon all of the official Qt modules for the 5.0 release.

Missing from the official module list for Qt 5.0 are some components like Qt3D, which had to be scrapped for now due to Nokia eliminating their Qt Australia office before Qt was sold to Digia.

The official module list along with other Qt 5.0 Beta 2 details are available from this Digia blog post.
