LINUX KERNEL
The Linux 3.7-rc4 kernel was released on Sunday.

Another week, another RC, but this update isn't particularly noteworthy. There's regression fixes -- including for the EXT4 regression -- and various other minor updates, but nothing that particularly stands out.

The brief release announcement from Linus Torvalds can be found on the kernel mailing list. See this article for highlights of the Linux 3.7 kernel.
