For users of Fedora 23 you will soon be able to enjoy Linux 4.4 as a stable release upgrade.

Laura Abbott has announced that Linux 4.4.2 is landing in the F23 updates-testing repository and is encouraging interested users/developers to test out their first 4.4-based kernel prior to officially landing. More details via this mailing list message.

If you are unfamiliar with the new features of the Linux 4.4 kernel, see our kernel feature overview. Linux 4.4 should be a nice upgrade for Fedora 23 users over Linux 4.3.
