LINUX KERNEL --
Another pull request worth mentioning for the Linux 4.11 kernel is the media subsystem updates.

There are new media drivers for Linux 4.11 and they include the i.MX6 Video Data Order Adapter's (VDOA), Toshiba et8ek8 5MP sensor, STM DELTA multi-format video decoder V4L2 driver, SPI connected IR LED, Mediatek IR remote receiver, and ZyDAS ZD1301 DVB USB interface driver.

In addition to the several new media drivers there are also new RC keymaps, some old LIRC drivers got dropped from the kernel's staging area, and various other fixes and improvements to the existing media code.
