KDE Applications 15.12 Released, Spectacle Replaces KSnapshot

KDE Applications 15.12 was officially released today as the last major KDE component update for 2015.

KDE Applications 15.12 replaces KSnapshot with a new screenshot application called Spectacle, the Kdenlive video editor has seen many improvements, the Ark archive manager and KDE Games have seen numerous improvements, many other KDE applications have seen a lot of polishing, and there are many stability/bug fixes. Besides getting rid of KSnapshot, KDE Applications 15.12 also drops Amor, KTux, and SuperKaramba.

More details on KDE Applications 15.12 can be found via the big write-up today at KDE.org. This release jives with the recent updates for KDE Frameworks 5.17 and Plasma 5.5.
