The rumor is back that Intel and AMD have reached a deal for future Intel CPUs to be paired with integrated AMD Radeon graphics.

There were rumors earlier this year about Intel talking to AMD about licensing their graphics tech for use in future CPUs. Now it seems a deal might have been reached.

We hadn't received any official announcement from either company, but Kyle Bennett of HardOCP, someone who is generally reliable and someone who I know, posted this week in his forums, "The licensing deal between AMD and Intel is signed and done for putting AMD GPU tech into Intel's iGPU."

Unfortunately, no other details or official confirmation at this time. It's not out of the realm of possibilities though -- especially with recurring rumors about RTG trying to sell itself off or be acquired -- and would give Intel CPUs with integrated graphics much greater potential. Hopefully we'll find out more information soon...
