Valve teamed up with hardware manufacturer HTC to produce the HTC Revive, a.k.a. the SteamVR Headset.

The HTC SteamVR headset is being shown off this coming week in San Francisco at GDC2015. This SteamVR Headset will be available in the second half of 2015 in time for the holidays -- perhaps too when Steam Machines will finally be available at retail? A development kit of this new VR HMD is expected though in the Spring for game developers. The HTC SteamVR headset has a 90Hz refresh rate, hand movement tracking, and wireless controller. To no surprise, the HTC SteamVR Re Vive device will be supported under Linux / SteamOS.

HTCVR.com is now live though there isn't much at the HTC VR site besides the YouTube video embedded below.
