Zink was running superb with the promising Unvanquished game and nearly at performance parity to the AMD Radeon Gallium3D driver.

Xonotic even had a slight edge with Zink over RadeonSI.

Zink is ending 2021 in pretty damn fine shape. It's crazy to see Zink now at a position where for multiple games it is at or very close to performance parity with RadeonSI. Once the Copper work lands for being able to get Zink working with Wayland compositors and the like, it will be very interesting to see what sort of traction Zink may gain and whether it will eventually lead to the deprecation of any native OpenGL drivers in favor of it or at least new hardware support foregoing native OpenGL driver support on Linux. Interesting times for sure and great work by Blumenkrantz and the others involved in Zink this year.
