Running some CUDA and OptiX rendering workloads tended to yield similar performance between platforms.

With having a NVIDIA RTX GPU, you should be using Blender's excellent OptiX back-end, but if running with the CPU back-end was another surprising case of Windows delivering better performance than Linux. Clear Linux again was running much slower than the rest.

The Appleseed renderer was also surprisingly running faster on Windows 10 Pro for Workstations.
