With Intel's Embree, Windows 10 ended out each test case in last place but wasn't really far behind the Linux distributions at all. CnetOS Stream, Debian 10.1, openSUSE Tumbleweed, and Clear Linux tended to run slightly faster than the four other Linux distributions benchmarked this round on the Core i9 7980XE. Note the official Intel binaries were used for testing across all operating systems.

Intel Open Image Demoise is another component to the oneAPI rendering toolkit and is also being picked up by Blender, LuxCoreRender, and other renderers for denoising. Windows 10 Pro was just a stone's throw past the eight tested Linux distributions.
