There were no real surprises in the CacheBench test except for the Windows 10 performance in the read test.

The x264 video encoding performance was barely impacted when running on WSL or Windows 10 itself.

The OpenMP-using GraphicsMagick image editing tool did take a performance hit running under the WSL distributions as well as on Windows 10 itself. Then again, I'm not aware of any major users of GraphicsMagick on Windows when many other image editing tools exist.
