While the Intel Linux driver lost out with low image quality settings, at high image quality settings the results between Ubuntu 14.10 and Windows 8.1 were neck-and-neck with the Linux stack even leading by a couple frames.

With ultra image quality settings, the results between Windows 8.1 and Ubuntu 14.10 narrowed for the Core i7 4770K Haswell system with Intel HD Graphics 4600.

With ultimate image quality settings, Windows 8.1 Pro was trying to push forward but it was an incredibly tight race between the platforms.
