The testing of this spin was done from a CompuLab IntensePC, which has an Intel Core i7 "Ivy Bridge" processor with Intel HD 4000 graphics -- backed fully by Intel's open-source driver stack that is Wayland-friendly. The CompuLab IntensePC, which ships with Linux Mint, will see its full review on Phoronix in the near future.

In terms of the peculiar name of this Linux distribution, RebeccaBlack OS, the project page says "This is inspired by Linux distributions of the same theme (Hannah Montana Linux, and Justin Beiber Linux) that have appeared in the Linux community, only this is Rebecca Black Linux, which is named after my favorite celebrity...This distribution is 3RD PARTY fan made. Yes. I am a fan of Rebecca Black."

Now if you clicked the above video, here's a page break so you can get a beer to preserve your sanity -- unless of course you're a Phoronix Premium subscriber where all articles are ad-free and rendered on a single page. The lavation I used was a 13th Century Grut Bier brewed by Dr. Fritz Briem out of Munich. It's a very interesting beer, albeit not my favorite beer created by this German Professor specializing in historical beers. The 13th Century Grut Bier is a pre-Reinheitsgebot top-fermented beer made out of bay leaves, Ginger, Caraway fig, Anise fig, Rosemarie, Getian, water, Wheat, Barley, and Wild Hops. It's worth trying, but there are many floaters in the beer and tastes like eating an herb garden or spice rack... A much better choice is the professor's 1809 Berliner Style Weisse.
