First up with the basic SQLite benchmark given how prolific this embedded database library is used by applications. Clear Linux with its fine tuning easily won hands down against the eight other Linux distributions. To some surprise, Solus and Void Linux were in a more distant last place compared to the other Linux distributions.

There wasn't a lot of difference in the Golang HTTP benchmark except for Fedora Workstation running slower than the rest while Sabayon Linux carried a small lead.

For Go's garbage collection benchmark, Clear Linux was the fastest while Ubuntu 18.10 was the slowest though not with a lot of variation in the results.

In the Java-based DaCapo benchmarks, Clear Linux and Debian Testing (Buster) had narrow first place finishes.
