First up with BioShock Infinite, the performance of the tested AMD discrete GPUs were up by about 8% between the tested Core i3 and i5 CPUs. The HD Graphics 630 of these CPUs really struggle to run BioShock Infinite at 1080p.

With Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, the faster i5-7600K had a much more profound impact with a 33% boost in performance for the RX 480 when opting for the more expensive CPU.

CS:GO is one of the more CPU-bound popular Linux games. At 1080p, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive was still around 30% faster with the i5-7600K over the i3-7100 with both CPUs being at stock speeds.
