Xonotic with high and ultra quality image settings showed the Ubuntu 13.10 open-source drivers being a hell of a lot better than they were one year ago in Ubuntu 12.10, but the Catalyst Legacy driver was still about twice as fast with code that hasn't been touched AMD's binary driver team in months.

Plot3D didn't see much change over the past year and the performance lead was still in favor of AMD's binary blob.

Furmark is now faster than Catalyst, but there was incorrect rendering on the open-source driver.
