Compressing a 2GB file using Gzip is much faster under Ubuntu 12.04 than Ubuntu 11.10 when running each from the same 16GB SDHC card.

The dcraw image manipulation test was slightly faster under Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.

Some of the GraphicsMagick results were also higher for the PandaBoard ES under this early build of the Precise Pangolin for ARMhf.
