Given both Ubuntu 13.10 and Fedora 20 are riding on the Linux 3.11 and Mesa 9.2 packages by default, the Intel HD Graphics performance for both Ivy Bridge and Haswell systems was nearly identical.

While most of the open-source graphics results were similar, in the more demanding Xonotic game with ultra and ultimate quality settings the lead on both Intel systems were in favor of Fedora 20 over Ubuntu 13.10. (Possibly due to Ubuntu 13.10 having greater rendering quality due to using patent-encumbered functionality compared to Fedora 20.)
