Similar to the Python results, the PHP performance has also improved thanks to all the upstream improvements there.

Firefox 74.0 is on all of the supported Ubuntu releases but when running it on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS there did appear to be some slight improvements.

Overall, Ubuntu 20.04 LTS should deliver some nice evolutionary improvements to the Linux performance for those on newer systems. More benchmarks will come in April as we approach the release of Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. Aside from the performance, a lot of other improvements have been building up from better ZFS support to all the GNOME 3.36 enhancements and more.
