Moving over to more compute workloads, the MrBayes molecular biology program did see some nice improvements with its performance over the past two years, likely due to toolchain improvements with this test being built from source and other enhancements along the way.

The Golang HTTP test did see some hits on Ubuntu 18.04 and later due to being affected by the mitigations.

But in other Golang tests, the performance has improved nicely with time.

Go build was another exception where the performance regressed on Ubuntu 19.10 and continued so far in the Ubuntu 20.04 LTS development cycle.
