The TUXEDO Aura 15 Gen2 overall is a decent offering of a mid-range, business-oriented notebook. The choice of the Ryzen 3 5300U / Ryzen 5 5500U / Ryzen 7 5700U is still decent as shown by the performance across the many benchmarks run. For those looking for a Zen 3 based laptop, TUXEDO does also offer the Polaris 15 Gen3 that can be configured with a Ryzen 7 5800H or at the top-end the Stellaris 15 Gen3 with Ryzen 9 5900HX, similar to the ASUS ROG Strix G15 shown in the benchmarks with this article. Should you want a bigger laptop, there is also the 17-inch versions of the Stellaris and Polaris Gen3 laptops. So far there isn't yet any Ryzen Mobile 6000 series offerings from TUXEDO but presumably will come as supply chain issues ease up.

The build quality of the Aura 15 Gen2 is similar to that of other Clevo laptops tested over the years and features a partial aluminum housing. The size and weight of the laptop is also decent for a capable business notebook. The connectivity options with the Aura 15 Gen2 are great and certainly no complaints there.

Most importantly, the TUXEDO Aura 15 Gen2 runs great with Linux and no hardware issues to note there, not even around suspend and resume and other sometimes finicky features with other laptops.

Pricing on the Aura 15 Gen2 currently starts out at 789 EUR for the base model or roughly 924 EUR for the unit as configured for this review testing. That is for the German pricing with VAT included while those without VAT will see the pricing start out at about 639 EUR or 748 EUR for the unit configuration as reviewed. It's on the more expensive size for a Ryzen 5000 series desktop but not too unexpected considering it's coming from a small Linux PC vendor.
